Homan noemt dat de &#8220;betekenis wolken&#8221; die werkelijk aangeven wat de medewerkers ervan denken.<br \/>\nVerandering vindt volgens hem alleen plaats in het spontane domein en dus niet in &#8216;een bedachte wereld&#8217;. De &#8216;betekenis wolken&#8217; zijn niet te\u00a0be\u00efnvloeden\u00a0door lineaire verandering op basis van een plan, terwijl ze essentieel zijn voor het veranderingsproces.
